The case of a deceitful coworker

 November 16, 2015

First question, if you know your coworker is scamming hours, in the sense that they pretend they work this much hours when they didn't, what do you do?

Apparently, nothing.

My new coworker who started perhaps 6-7 months ago leaves an hour early every Monday claiming that she stays over time and she would just add it up.

And on a Saturday when she comes to work she claims that she got the ok from the boss to come in at 9am when she usually starts at 8:30 and ends at 3:30 if she takes no lunch break, but the problem is she thinks that she can just leave an hour early, regardless and get paid for that. Come on, that is so sneaky. It's common sense that if you come in later than you leave later to make up for your time. But this coworker who is a year short of 30 is just unbelievable. It makes me wonder why I always make up my time and stay overtime for nothing.

Please be honest. Your laziness is another problem but we will leave that for another time.
